Directed by the world renowned Preet Sandhu, the music video was actually shot on the beautiful beaches of Bavaro in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. Visuals of tropical bliss, sunshine, white sand, crystal blue water and palm trees paint Jay Deala’s lyrics in the most bona fide way. Scenes of locals at local establishments also provide authenticity along with showcasing some of the sexiest women on the planet having fun on a boat, lying in the sun on the beach, partying poolside and getting wild at club “Una Mas”. “Una Mas” translates to “One More” and is one of the hottest nightclubs in the Dominican Republic. Highlights from the UK!

Jay Deala’s 2011 UK promotional tour was extremely successful. Action packed with awards shows, gigs, PA’s, studio collaborations, TV spots, radio interviews and much much more! On Oct 1st 2011 Deala attended the 2011 Brit Asia TV Awards in London and mingled with the UK’s entertainment industry’s most elite schmoozing and sharing laughs with all artists, media representatives and record label executives.

Jay Deala then headed to Birmingham and on Oct 4th 2011 had one of the hottest studio sessions creating three brand new tracks with the Moneyspinner crew of VIP records and Sharni Virdee of TIME productions. Watch out for these blazing urban desi tracks that are sure to surprise many!

Jay Deala then went on to MC as the only desi urban artist on the Brit Asia TV Fresher’s Uni Bhangra Tour at Gatecrashers in downtown Birmingham on Oct 6th 2011. Jay Deala opened the show for acts such as DES-C, Jags Klimax, Punjabi MC, Aman Hayer, Geeta Zaildar, Lehmber Hussainpuri and none other than the one and only king of bhangra Jazzy B.

The finale performance on Oct 8th 2011 was at the infamous FOGGS Bar on Broad Street in Birmingham. Jay Deala performed his hits AJAA and SUMMERTIME live and had the bhangra crowd rocking! Again being the only urban artist on the bill, other artists that were there included Nirmal Sidhu, Rana Sahota, Bups Saggu, Luckstar, DNA, AS Dhami, Bally Gill, Simon Singh, S Class, Manny Khaira and DJ Sarj.

All in all the trip was immensely triumphant and be sure to expect the urban desi phenom Jay Deala to be back in the UK real soon!

FILMI 2011 set to screen Music Video

The video is set to release November 5th 2011 and will receive its world premiere at the the 12th annual FILMI: Toronto’s South Asian film festival.
FILMI is North America’s longest running South Asian film festival, and was the first to introduce a music video segment celebrating South Asian artists from across Canada and around the world. This is the 4th consecutive year that FILMI has presented music videos programmed by Hip-Hop Activist Deejay Ra.
Jay will also be in attendance to introduce his video and greet fans.
